Cornish Acacia Chopping Board

The board is made from Cornish-grown Acacia, which is a resilient, dense and hard wood, perfect for a cutting board. The original tree was growing on the Tregothnan Estate, and I was lucky enough to sourced this from my local saw mills.
It has a lovely warm tone, a golden grain and two unique live edges which would enliven any kitchen or dinner party.

Length: 670mm (26 1/4")
Width : 370 mm (14 3/4") ... (290mm/12" at narrower end)
Thickness : 33mm (1 1/4")
Finished with a blend of pure organic Cornish beeswax (Gwenen apiaries) and organic uk grown and produced hemp oil (vitality hemp)
I blend the two myself to create the ideal ratio for nourishing and protecting the wood.
Laser engraved on the base.
All my items are made entirely by me in my cornish workshop near St Ives.
