I am a Cornish Woodturner based near St ives, i specialise in working with local wood, sourced from my local surroundings and working with the natural beauty within the wood. The Pelyow (Cornish for sphere/orb) is one of my favourite ways to unveil and preserve the beauty within the wood, they are tactile and incredibly satisfying to hold, while highlighting some if the intricate details within the grain.
