From a large alder tree removed from a garden in St. Ives.
The grain in this burr is absolutely stunning, from a huge burr that went around the whole base of the tree. Full of shapes and even more character inviting the eye to see all sorts of figures and images appearing in the grain!

Laser engraved on the bottom.
Finished with Loxkin pure hemp oil and a final coat with beeswax, perfect for nourishing and protecting the wood.
