I was offered a whole cherry tree on a plot of land set for development in 2017. This is one of the first pieces I have made from this wood - being turned very green the delicate thin walls have allowed this piece to take on a lovely natural form as the final drying took place.
Finished with several coats of pure hemp Oil and Cornish beeswax. The natural colours and grain of this cherry are striking.
The live edge bark has stayed on perfectly and even a few pieces of moss have held on! However they may eventually come off or stop being green!
